The Color changing strip of LEDs requires a 12V power supply, even though my 2 cellphone batteries are 10V in series, the voltage from my battery was sufficient enough to light up the skateboard. I recommend you guys to use a battery that equals 12v and that can fit in the skateboard.

LED strip lights
RGB receiver from LED lights kit
Remote from LED lights kit
Electrical wire for connecting LED strips
Old but functional 5v Cellphone batteries (x2)
Ducktape or some other material to cover up batteries
