Tito Ortiz opened up to VladTV about his parents addiction to heroin and never wanting to try the drug because he knew that it was so deadly. However, Tito started using meth with a friend after graduating high school, and didn't realize it was taking a toll on him until he was approached by his wrestling coach. From there, Tito decided to get into college wrestling, and his coach helped him secure financial aid and a stipend to help with his bills. Tito spoke about how the sport changed his life again when he got into UFC and people started noticing him following his UFC 13 victory.
