One arm dumbbell sit-up to support Step 1: Lie flat on your back next to a dumbbell on one side.
Step 2: Grab the dumbbell with one hand and press it up to the sky and bend the knee on the same side of your body that you are holding the dumbbell.
Step 3: Extend the other arm diagonally down along the floor.
Step 4: Press your lower back into the floor and initiate a sit-up as you continue to reach the dumbbell straight up to the sky and slightly twist so that you are pressing into your extended arm into the floor.
Step 5: Sit up as tall as you can and reach the dumbbell as high as you can.
Step 6: Reverse slowly set yourself back down keeping the dumbbell pressing up to the sky.
Step 7: Complete all repetitions on one arm then switch the dumbbell to the other hand and repeat on the other side.
