1) Murphy: Morally ambiguous slave-trading ghoul
2) Harley: Troubled gang member with an obsession for old comic books
3) Eden: Badass knife-fighter
4) Alerios: Machete-wielding ghoul with an affinity for fashion masks and pre-war slasher films
5) Roxy: Ex-courser, romanceable
2 vanilla-based companions
1) Kellogg: If you convince him to work with you instead of killing him (it's optional)
2) Slave Kasumi: If you choose to allow slavery in Diamond City after becoming mayor (no Far Harbor conflict)
Murphy drives the main plot and he is a forced companion for one quest. All other companions are optional. None of the companions use a vanilla companion slot. Harley and Roxy have personal quests. Eden and Roxy give repeatable side quests. If a companion gets lost, teleport them to you with the "Teleport Depravity Companions to you" holotape that is added to your inventory during the first quest.
Murphy, Harley, Eden, and Alerios are located at Concord Fallon's. Roxy is at The New Rexford Hotel & Casino. Do not engage with Roxy beyond playing Roulette several times if a sexually explicit companion is not your thing. She's completely optional and will trigger some people. 2) The New Rexford Hotel & Casino - Once you own Hotel Rexford
3) The Diamond City Strongroom - After you become mayor of Diamond City
These come fully furnished, but also have workbenches, and you can send your companions and settlers to live there. Concord Fallon's has a dungeon for your least favorite NPC's, and the New Rexford Hotel & Casino has a day spa for your waifus.
