Nonprofit Cafe Feeds Community with Garden Grown Vegetables Even If You Can't Pay

John from visits the FoCo Cafe in Fort Collins, Colorado to share with you a new model for restaurants - ensuring that everyone can eat a nutritious meal regardless of their ability to pay.

You will learn how the FoCo Cafe has a full vegetable garden out the back door thanks to the Growing Project, another non-profit in Ft Collins whos mission is to promote an environmentally and socially just local food system through direct agricultural experiences, education, economic opportunities, and advocacy.

John will give you a full tour of the garden as well as his favorite elements in the garden that he believes all community gardens should have.

You will discover how the garden collects it owns rainwater, provides you an opportunity to get free seeds to grow your own garden, and much, much more.
