In this video we talk about how to choose a successful niche for a passive or organic traffic reliant website which you won’t get bored of. Choosing something which you are interested in is key here!
I go through 3 simple steps to choose a niche which you will be able to write about for years to come, and so not lose time by constantly changing from niche to niche.
Using tools like Google auto complete and Google trends can help you choose the best niche for you personally, and also to ensure that you don’t waste time on a very low search volume niche.

Brainstorming possible niches:
Technique 1:
Go through your internet history
Technique 2:
Walk around your local shopping mall
Technique 3:
Poll your friends about their hobbies/interests (collaboration)
Technique 4:
Look at Quora/reddit
Technique 5:
Search list of magazines
Technique 6: (worst)
Go through shopping categories on Amazon, clickbank, ebay etc.

Verify:
Your niche must:
• Be something you are interested in.
• Be something you do or can learn to do (even just for an experience)
• Have minimum 30 underserved queries
• Have a published magazine on the topic
• Avoid YMYL (if possible)
• Can you establish EAT
• Last thing: could you monetize with ads, affiliate or an info product
When you choose your niche, go back and do more search analysis THEN choose your domain.
