Pakistan Navy today Launched 4th (fourth) Azmat Class Fast Attack Craft (Missile). KSEW cuts steel for fourth Azmat-class fast attack craft back in March 2017.
Fast Attack Craft (Missile) is a state of the art, a multi-mission vessel with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure and equipped with indigenously developed weapons and sensors, according to the KS&EW official website.
First indigenous fast attack craft launched
Launching Ceremony of indigenously designed multi-mission capable Fast Attack Craft (Missile)/FAC(M)-4 being built for #PakNavy at KS&EW was held today. Chief Guest Federal Minister for Defence Production Mohtarma Zubaida Jalal applauded the national goal of self-reliance.

The keel-laying ceremony of this forth FAC(M) which was held in March 30, 2017, and today it is launched which mean it took around 32 months for making 560 tonnes vessel; this is not somewhat satisfactory but OK, now it will go for sea trials which may take another 6 months if everything goes accordingly otherwise more time will be consumed this mean as of now its take almost 3-3.5 years for us to make a small FAC(M) in-house and to operationally induct in PN
