Mission Therapy: How Saving Sea Turtles Helps Veterans with PTSD

Mission Therapy: How Saving Sea Turtles Helps Veterans with PTSD One of the best ways to help returned combat veterans reintegrate into society is to make sure they have the same sense of purpose that they lived in the military. OceanX spent the day with Force Blue, an organization that unites Special Operations veterans with the world of marine science and conservation. While their previous operations have included outplanting baby corals and re-righting coral heads after hurricanes, #OceanX caught them in the middle of their study with the Marathon Turtle Hospital, scouting for green sea turtles suffering from a crippling virus known as fibropapillomatosis. An original documentary by Oceanx and #onebigwave, with special thanks to Moore Charitable Foundation and Bloomberg Vibrant Oceans Initiative.
