Delmarva continues to see the impactful events of Sub-Tropical Storm Melissa this week. Bethany Beach Delaware took a major hit from inundation tidal flooding from the 8 to 14-foot seas. Pennsylvania ave in downtown Bethany is under about 2 to even 3 feet of water. Many road closures in the coastal community but that did not stop local residents from trying to make the best of a bad situation. Many locals riding bikes, walking through floodwaters to pick up debris along the way. One family found some creativity and decided to kayak and use stand up paddleboards to make it a family day getting around town.
