This was a great day of metal detecting in New Hampshire at a cellar hole ( old foundation ) out in the woods of New Hampshire. This site was settled in the 1700s and abandoned in the early 1800s and nobody has lived here since. We start out metal detecting around the footprint of where the house once stood and all the iron is in the ground and right away we are finding stuff. Lots of relics like buttons, spoons and buckles. Dame with his Garrett ATPRO detector finds a really large pewter spoon and shoe buckle tongue. DC with his Garrett ATGOLD detector finds a 1700s copper coin that is super green but not sure of exactly what era it is from. This video is a good display of the what you can find if you go metal detecting a cellar hole in New England. A great selection of Relics from the 1700s & 1800s and in reality about the usual count of artifacts.
