In this video we will explain what torque converter is, where the torque converter is located, and what needs to be done to replace the torque converter on your car. The torque converter is located between the engine and the transmission and in order to replace the torque converter you will have to either remove the transmission or the engine on your car. If the torque converter is bad you may experience transmission shudder, transmission shifting hard, the car my even day at stop lights because the torque converter may be engaged. Some codes that indicate problems with the torque converter are P0740 P0741 P0742. Always check your transmission fluid to make sure that it is not wore out and check the solenoid before taking the whole transmission apart.
