TAINTED #2 of 5 - Comic Series The second chapter of the TAINTED SAGA. This new action-drama comic will reveal the truth behind the cult and Creek's ultimate mission.
PREVIOUSLY:
TAINTED tells the story of Creek Wilden, a 16-year-old girl who miraculously survives a harrowing bus crash and witnesses the death of her boyfriend Reid. The crash led to deep depression but unlocked something in Creek's mind that allows her to see a sinister cult hiding among us, known as the Viciat. Scholar Octavius Farici was sent to find Creek and protect her.
In this new issue, Creek gets the whole story on who Octavius is and the sinister cult hunting her. She also meets up with an old friend who will help train her to fight back. Plagued by ongoing anxiety and depression, Creek learns new ways to fight her illness but also protect her from the supernatural threat looming on the horizon.
There were all sorts of risks and challenges with TAINTED but the second issue is now completely finished. Just needs to be printed and shipped.
This campaign will cover the cost of printing, shipping, cost overages and fully funding the third issue of the five-part series. Each issue is 24 pages.
I did learn some things from the previous issue. Production was more expensive than my previous estimates especially shipping. This time around we will be shipping everything in cardboard sleeves to strengthen and assure quality. We shipped in bubble wrap previously.
TAINTED, as always, will be printed on 80lb almost cardstock paper with glorious glossy covers. The art will literally jump off the page it will be so beautiful. This will be a super high-quality comic.
