Meet Stephanie Sithu - our 3rd Place Winner 2019 Living the Example Video Contest

Through her animations and art, Stephanie practice patience and perseverance to help bring social change in her community.

The Living the Example National Video Contest was created to highlight all the amazing things young people are doing and to empower youth to stay drug-free by providing a powerful platform to speak up and out against drugs and promote healthy living.

“Living the Example” means any positive, drug-free activity that youth participate in. The contest was open to all U.S. youth (ages 13-24) and encouraged them to share how they are “living the example” and making a difference in their community through 30-60 second videos.

The contest was first launched in 2012 and has reached more than 327,000 people.
