Hi :) I`m Iulia, I created this video to share my passion for architecture and interior design and enjoy with you one of the most stunning works in architecture and interior design - Contemporary Modern Gleaming Luxury Desert Retreat In Palm Springs, California, USA (Architect - H3K Design)!.

I created this video, primarily using the editing programs Quick GoPro, Widows Movie Maker and of course Photoshop. In order to edit this project presentation I used intro, overlayed images, used juxtapositions, transitions, parallels, that are drawn between different clips to deliver the original narrative of the video in a transformative manner that falls under Fair Use and provides unique value to my viewers I lalso watermarked the video and used royalty free music as background sound.

For this video I used a Sony camcorder - Sony Handycam HDR-CX405, SteadyShot, Full HD

Sketched out by H3K Design, this luxurious private home that is located in Palm Springs, California, USA. epresents a perfect home for any true entertainer, as it comes with a plethora high-end of facilities and amenities that encourage socialization and relaxation. Fine examples include a small golf course and an outdoor swimming pool, not to mention the patio, the lounging chairs and the tennis court.

Inside, there is a living room with comfortable sofas and a fireplace as well as a contemporary kitchen with state-of-the-art appliances. The interior design is contemporary and is based on neutral tones of white, gray and black. Some of the furnishings flaunt vibrant colors for a touch of contrast and contribute to a playful and welcoming atmosphere.

Configured in an H-shape, the gleaming property, spreads out over 4,539 square feet and comprises four-and-half-baths, a living room and great room lined with walls of glass framing views of the original, glimmering Regency pool and desert vista, four spacious ensuite bedrooms, and media room. Shiny stone floors are found in the common areas, while plush carpeting is laid out in the rest of the house.

Outside, the roof overhang provides privacy and sun protection, while large open areas offer plenty of entertaining opportunities. A fire pit and spa round out the space. (Don’t forget the two fountains flanking the walkway up to the main entrance.)

Built in 1960, the home was saved from demolition and has undergone an extensive renovation.

The Home was built for Pepto-Bismol developer Mel Eaton and his wife Ethel, who were lively socialites and good friends of Hollywood glamour couple Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz.

Featuring four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, the home has 421sqm of living space, including a living room, ‘Great Room’ with kitchen, formal dining and media room.

Outside, there’s a spectacular updated swimming pool, a new spa, outdoor firepit and barbecue area.

Manicured gardens, featuring (what else) plenty of palm trees frame the home against its stunning desert backdrop.

Located just 20 minutes from Palm Springs, the house boasts 360-degree views from its glass walls, while modernist touches like the roof overhangs and high ceilings add to the elegance.

The property’s renovation was undertaken by H3K Design.
