Extensive planning and preparation went into the environmental monitoring efforts for Mission One. Every day for the 116 days that System 001 was offshore, a team of scientists and experts monitored the system and the surrounding environment to understand the possible impact of the technology and to minimize any potential harm to marine life. Initial results indicate minimal effects on marine life and the team will continue to study and evaluate this important work when we launch System 001/B.
