Plus, it was shivery cold. When the sun goes behind the mountain, the wind starts whipping through the canyon, a snow begins to fall, and you’re screaming down the line—I was shaking for more reasons than one.
I know you’ll notice the guides were running around in regular shirts and were so nonchalant about it all. But they don’t count. There’s people who are X-Games types and those that aren’t. I’m not.
But, rise above the fear I did. There is a total rush to overcoming something you consider dangerous. I suppose there’s a real element of risk. But I’m pretty sure the elation comes from winning over your personal obstacles.
And yeah, I will be back! I checked out other zip-lining experiences on YouTube and there’s a world of amazing adventure out there.
