Thursday after President Donald Trump ordered a strike that killed top Iranian military leader Gen. Qassim Soleimani. Democrats got in line to blame him for the strike.
One of the first to wag her finger and shake her chicken like head was Warren as she attacked the president on Twitter.
“We’re on the brink of yet another war in the Middle East—one that would be devastating in terms of lives lost and resources wasted,” she said.
“We’re not here by accident. We’re here because a reckless president, his allies, and his administration have spent years pushing us here.
“Donald Trump ripped up an Iran nuclear deal that was working. He’s repeatedly escalated tensions,” The senator said.
“Now he’s assassinated a senior foreign military official. He’s been marching toward war with Iran since his first days in office—but the American people won’t stand for it.
“All three of my brothers served in uniform. I know the sacrifices we ask of them and their families. Trump’s actions put every service member and diplomat in the region at risk.
“This is a moment for vigilance—for Americans to speak up and speak out. No more Middle East wars, she said.
“Donald Trump is dangerous and reckless. He’s escalated crises and betrayed our partners. He’s undermined our diplomatic relationships for his own personal, political gain. We cannot allow him to drag us back into another war. We must speak out,” she said.
Dangerous is the man that he killed, not the President of The United States. If you cannot see that you are not fit to lead.
She was among others, including Rep. Ilhan Omar who showed more loyalty to Iran on Friday than to the president and The United States.
And Democrat Sen. Chris Murphy of Connecticut was another who used the word “assassination” to describe the killing of a man designated a terrorist.
What Democrats have shown us is that a vote for them to get back in The White House is a vote to go back to the days off former President Jimmy Carter.
