The wounded baby elephant treated by wildlife officers.

This baby elephant who used to live in Karuwalagaswewa Siyabalangamuwa area, sustained sever injuries as it had entangled with a trap attached to a shot gun.Dr Chandana Jayasinha and the men of the wildlife department treated the animal for the wounds and saved life.
