New Year Honours: Who made the list? England cricketers, a 13-year-old and music legends feature on the New Year Honours list which sees 1,097 people receive an award.

James Bond director Sam Mendes, cricket hero Ben Stokes and Bake Off winner Nadiya Hussain are also among the country's leading figures to feature on the New Year Honours list.

This year's list sees 1,097 people receive an award - the lowest number for a New Year Honours list since 2012, when the total was 984.
