New Skills for a Better Future in Bangladesh ADB is partnering with factories in Bangladesh’s booming garments industry to provide young women with the skills they need to succeed in employment.

A well-trained workforce is key to Bangladesh’s aspiration of becoming a developed country by 2041. Through a skills for employment program, ADB has already trained 260,000 young people with new skills in 10 high priority areas, including by partnering with factories in the booming garments industry.
