Four Goa Congress leaders resigned from the party to protest against its stand on the Citizenship Amendment Act and National Register of Citizens. Goa congress leaders Prasad Amonkar, Javed Sheikh, Dinesh Kubal and Shivraj Tarkar said that they are in favour of the amended citizenship law.
