Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is one of the most polarizing figures in professional sports. On the one hand, he made a series of bold moves to help the Cowboys win three Super Bowls during the ‘90s.

But the Cowboys have been mired in complete mediocrity ever since they last won the Super Bowl in the 1995 season, and a lot of this has to fall on Jones. He’s given himself too much power, and it’s led to plenty of awful personnel decisions that have set the Cowboys back.

Maybe Jones and the Cowboys will celebrate a sixth and possibly a seventh Super Bowl down the road. But that’s all for another day.
