It's a race against time. Our above-ground pipes, that feed our gravity fed water system to our temporary RV, keep freezing. The the conditions are right for us to trench them in, BUT if we're going to go to all the trouble to bring in an excavator and bobcat tractor, we might as well trench in pipe that is big enough to push water to our future home site and install conduit that can run electricity between our future shop, barn and well house. The hard part is that it's super cold as we are working but there is a warm front and a huge rainstorm headed our way. We won't be able to finish the job once the rain comes and everything gets too muddy. That will leave us at risk of freezing still in future cold snaps. Hopefully we can get the project done in time!
