Defeated Congress candidate Lakhan Jakriholi is holding a thanksgiving convention in Gokak. Satish Jarkiholi shared the stage with Lakhan. The duo are already laying the ground plan for the next general elections. Although Ramesh Jarkiholi's son Santosh Jarkiholi had said that all the Jarkiholis were united, Satish and Lakhan seem to differ from his opinion. Lakhan Jarkiholi claimed that the voters of Gokak voted for BS Yediyurappa and not for Ramesh Jarkiholi.
Lakhan also warned Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa against giving Ramesh water resource portfolio and said that Ramesh would create a rift within BJP if he doesn't get what he wants.
