Students and Community Organizations Sue the University of California System for Use of SAT and ACT

Students and Community Organizations Sue the University of California System for Use of SAT and ACT A recent lawsuit alleges that the University of California System's use of the SAT and the ACT in the admissions process is discriminatory towards applicants from low-income families, racial minorities, and otherwise disadvantaged students who apply to the schools which collectively get 175,000+ applications each year. The lawsuit demands UC stop using tests in their admissions process.
