Pelosi asks committee chairs to proceed on articles of impeachment against Trump

U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi provided a public statement on the impeachment inquiry into U.S. President Donald Trump on Thursday, stating that she has asked committee chairs to “proceed on articles of impeachment.” Pelosi said that Trump’s actions have violated the constitution and that there is “no choice but to act.”
