As an entrepreneur it’s important to find ways to stay healthy so that you don’t get overwhelmed by work. Having a self care plan will help you to remain focused and not give up.

Now, I know that people talk about sleep and diet as being significant parts of your health. The problem is that many of us just can’t seem to get a good night’s rest no matter how important we think it is. Likewise, there are certain times – like during the holidays – when we really don’t want to restrict ourselves too much.

Here are some ways to stay healthy that don’t include sleep or diet. They’re parts of a self care plan that you can easily implement every day.

The first thing you should do is meditate. When I meditate it brings me right back to where I need to be. By doing just a couple of minutes of meditation, you can clear your mind and raise your energy levels.

The second thing is to love yourself and forgive yourself. When I wake up not feeling so great, I know I can just sit for a moment, do the heart meditation, and love my body. This helps me immensely.

The third tip is to move your body. Specifically, if you can do a deep knee bend while circling your arms, it will get your lymph nodes going which is huge for maintaining health.

The fourth tip is to do yoga, which is essentially movement and meditation combined. Yoga is one of the most powerful ways to stay healthy and I recommend doing it daily.

By incorporating these tips into your self care plan, you can give yourself the energy you need to be successful.
