On 2nd October 2019, PM Modi announced that 100% of rural India is Open Defecation Free. We are fact-checking this claim across rural India.


In Salahpur village of Pratapgarh district, Uttar Pradesh toilets are not being constructed in 10 houses. These families are compelled to defecate in the open, reports Chanda Bharti.
