Hello darlings!! I have a classic, beautiful hair tutorial for you today, showing you how to do this incredibly simple and easy 1940s half-updo. With all of my hairstyles, I never really plan things out—they just happen, often through a lot of trial and error, on my head! This look features a little poodle section flanked by two large victory rolls, and the rest of the hair tucked up in a hairnet, finished off with a hair flower. This style can be adapted in so many different ways, and the beautiful thing about vintage hairstyles is that you can just play around and it will probably end up looking good!! This could also be made very festive with some sparkly bows or Christmassy accessory in place of the flower. Let me know if you try this hairstyle out, and leave any recommendations for videos in the comments! Don’t forget to follow me on social media to stay up to date, and of course subscribe for more regular vintage content!
