TTPS Warns Public About The Rise In Zesser Pill Use

TTPS Warns Public About The Rise In Zesser Pill Use The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service are again warning members of the public about a rise in the use of hallucinogenic drugs, more specifically what is commonly known as the Zesser pill.

Operational Commander of the Central Police Division, Assistant Superintendent Richard Smith speaking exclusively to TTT News described the Zesser pill as a mixture of Ecstasy and cocaine. He says around mid-2019 the Police noted an upsurge in violent crimes associated with Zesser pills being mixed with other substances.
The scientific name for Ecstasy is MDMA, however, MDMA is not explicitly referred to in the Dangerous Drugs Act. The Central Police Division has begun outreach programmes visiting schools and community groups educating students and teachers about the dangerous drug.

However, parents and guardians also need to be on the lookout for the Zesser pills.
