You most likely would not listen for two reasons: 1) the narc told you what a horrible person their ex is and 2) you feel good about your relationship with your narc and they're treating you "okay" so why mess it up. Trust me, the narc can only maintain fraudulent behavior for so long. What's done in the dark always comes out in the light.
