Ignore the weapons getting recolored, I can't really fix that on my side, this is a proof of concept, not something meant to work like that.
Having the possibility to have like... a multiple color palette option would be obviously more ideal. Valve already have the tools for color based masks from weapon skins, this would be cool to use here and allow mappers to choose colors for each team... and well.. allowing more customization in their maps, which are basically stuck with default playermodels and to not rely on entirely custom ones with scripts since it's now obsolete with the growth of playermodel skins.
An other use would be for colorblind people... but in a way you could also make them very visible on purpose... breaking the game and giving you an unfair advantage.
People really want to complain and exploit whenever they can am I right? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
