“The Ties That Bind” is the first film from Santa Catarina, Brazil, ALL PRODUCED IN ENGLISH! The story is about Vivian Reeves, a shallow 17-year-old girl, who dreams of becoming famous. One day, she receives a text message from her boyfriend breaking up with her, which makes her totally lost for never having experienced a loss in her life. Vivian becomes depressed e loses interest in leaving her room. During this difficult time, she watches a motivational video on the internet, which encourages her to find the motivation to overcome her problems and follow her dreams. This resilience completely changes her life, and even the one she would have never imagined...
