Pt 31 Ch 20 Clearing Beliefs and Desires

In this Light Circle specific instructions are provided for how to work with Jesus to clear denials--the desire for objective experience.

Through Light Circles Jesus is providing a new means to look at denials of Divine Light. We start the session with the Light, and ask to be shown any desires below our level of awareness to deny Light and if he says yes, there is a desire, we admit the desire and ask for a miracle. In this Lesson we ask Jesus to show us if there is a desire for an experience of hurt below our level of awareness and if it is revealed that we do, we ask for a miracle. Thus Jesus is demonstrating the contrast between the recognition of Infinite Light and the desire to have an experience of avoiding the Light. He is also demonstrating the simplicity of asking him which miracles to perform and what needs to be seen that is below the level of awareness. By asking Jesus to show us the desires below the level of awareness, admitting desires, and asking ask for a miracle, this change in perception reveals the ease and simplicity of having a conversation with the Light, and that that the Light is the only true voice and the fastest means to be carried past the desire to miscreate an experience of fragmentation of consciousness. In this we see that in deciding to change all thoughts that hurt to dismiss denials of Light, we accept who we are--Light.

In Jesus: A New Covenant ACIM, Jesus points to the power of direct experience of the Light within to clear denials of divinity. He shares that all the beliefs that are denials of Divinity are given in A Course in Miracles, and translates these beliefs in ANC to denials so that we can look directly with him. In Light Circles we focus on the Light first, and in this Light beliefs and desires that seem to deny awareness of unconditional Love, our true nature, are quickly cleared. And if asked, Jesus will reveal the subconscious denials. This principle is being applied daily in the mornings in and the evenings via Zoom to ACIM Course lessons.
