Odd Shape, Hard To Hold, Out Of Balance! - Wood Turning

From the beginning with the very odd shape and the difficulties of holding it, this piece gave me lots of challenges. I had an idea in mind but that's not what this wood had in mind. A very difficult turn but in the end, the beautiful nature of the wood combined with the bark makes for a unique natural edge winged bowl turning. Thank you to Dave from Calmwood Creations for providing the Maple wood for this turning.
