This is about our fifth session working on Slugger filing his nails. For the big brute he is, he tends to be quite delicate but that's okay. Once the behavior is more solid, I can be more discriminative about which scratches I will reinforce. Our sessions last about 3 minutes each time we work. This is a great behavior to train any dog who is worried about having his nails clipped AND for owners who worry about clipping nails themselves!
