The National Chief Imam Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, some members of parliament and the Muslim community in Ghana have asked the government to work to end the discrimination against moslem women who wear hijabs in Ghana. This follows reports that some institutions opposed the wearing of the hijab.
The Hijab is a head covering worn in public by Muslim women.
