Welcome to My Experiment Abroad!

In today's video, we went to visit this "little farm" that most typical Salvadoreans have literary, in their backyard. Sometimes they grow only a one type of tree that they grow throughout the backyard of their house. There are others that grow different types of trees to diversify what they consume. Most families that do grow their own food also sell any excess that they get and they sell it in the "mercado" or outdoor market. A high percentage of people here in el salvador, buy their groceries at the mercado. That has been the cheapest and most common way of buying groceries for the people in El Salvador. The ones who own large pieces of land cultivate fruits or vegetables to take advantage of the land they own.
