NOTE:
Now here is something interesting that occured on the weekend of October 12-13, 2019. Due to weekend track maintenance, there was no 5 train service between East 180th Street and 149th Street-Grand Concourse, in either direction. All 5 train service ran in two sections: 1) Between Eastchester-Dyre Avenue and East 180th Street. 2) Between Bowling Green and 149th Street-Grand Concourse, then via the (4) line to/from Burnside Avenue. As an alternative, use 2 train service. Also, uptown 4 and 5 trains skip 138th Street-Grand Concourse. As an alternative, transfer at 149th Street-Grand Concourse for a Manhattan 4 or 5 train. All uptown 5 trains run non-stop from 149th Street-Grand Concourse to Burnside Avenue. This provided lack of Access to the Unionport yard, resulting the 5 using Jerome Avenue yard equipment.
