EU agrees in principle to Brexit deadline extension

The European Union has agreed – in principle – to another extension for its divorce from the UK. A new date is likely to be discussed and agreed to this week, whilst the British prime minister says he'll give lawmakers more time to debate the Brexit deal, providing they agree to a general election on December 12.
