Brexiteer hopes of a firm clear no deal Brexit this coming Thursday, may well be dashed this morning, as reports emerge that there is a draft EU Commission Decision waiting to be issued later today.

And this further Brexit extension will take the UK to the end of January 2020 as laid out in the Benn Surrender Act, but with an added clause that should the Boris Johnson Withdrawal Agreement be signed off, then we could leave on the first of the following month.

The Guardian reports:

"An EU declaration attached to the draft agreement stipulates that the bloc will not renegotiate the withdrawal agreement. It also says the UK has “an obligation” to nominate a candidate to join the European commission. The prime minister has previously said he will not put forward a nominee."

So there will now also be a debate on who the new UK Commissioner to the EU should be.

But there is little point in offering this option to leave early with the Boris treaty, because MPs will keep voting it down to ensure they are able to fully employ the whole three month extension period to continue their work of reversing Brexit, probably via yet another Article 50 extension.

They will also not vote for an election under the fixed term parliament act this afternoon as it risks putting Boris straight back in power with enough of a majority to spoil Remainer dreams.

The nearest we will get to an election is probably if the SNP and Lib Dems try to get an act of parliament through for a one off election that they can tinker with and put in the ability for 16 and 17 year olds and EU nationals to be able to vote in it, with no voter ID necessary etc. And hold it on a date that is suitable to them.

Looks like a body of 27 foreign member state leaders, none of whom have been elected by the UK electorate, together with a UK parliament that refuses to submit to a General Election are dictating what goes on here.

And don't the Remainers just love that whole undemocratic situation!
