Tips for Black Women at work - is the corporate world Racist? (HINT: MAYBE) Our Advice and Strategy In this video, Ife and I talk about our experiences as black women working in the corporate world. The truth is that the experience of being black at work differs from company to company and obviously the country/region you live.

While we have been "lucky" not to experience outright discrimination (as far as we are aware)as young black women at work, there are moments in our careers where we have been so self-conscious and nervous about standing out that we shrank instead of thriving.

Hopefully, this video encourages other young girls to OWN whatever it is that makes them unique/different. And if a company mistreats you due to your ethnicity or any other stupid reason - f**k them and make a swift exit!
