Additional Solicitor General of India and former Advocate General of Goa Atmaram Nadkarni has pledged not to represent Government of Goa again following his unceremonious removal from all matters pertaining to Goa in Delhi. In his first interview following his exclusion, Nadkarni took a dig at CM stating this Chief Minister doesn’t feel that former CM Manohar Parrikar’s dispensation is appropriate for him.
“Parrikar had people of principle around him. This CM does not want them. Probably because he thinks they will not suit his agenda”, Nadkarni said during Head On.
He even warned this government of consequences of such actions. “State of finances of the government is bad. I don’t mind you removing me or the advocate general. It is CM’s prerogative. But be ready to face consequences. People are watching”, he warned.
