When one amongst you is no more…..at Chattbir zoo

In Chhatbir zoo, 11 years old Lion, Yuvraj, died after a prolonged illness.
Three lioness viz Shilpa, Heli and her daughter Heer were his good company..
After Yuvraj’s death, Heli and Heer were composed ……………
but Shilpa was very restless………….
It is not clear, whether they understand death, but, they certainly feel, that something is amiss.
There is not much research, on the subject of big cat bereavement, and it is difficult to predict.
