ಮಹಾ ಮಳೆಗೆ ಮರಾಠ ಸಾಮ್ರಾಜ್ಯ ಅಕ್ಷರಷಹ ನಲುಗಿ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದು ,ಇದರ ಪರಿಣಾಮ ಗಡಿಭಾಗದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀರಿದೆ .ಮಹರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ರಾಜಾಪುರ ಬ್ಯಾರೇಜ್ ನಿಂದ ಚಿಕ್ಕೋಡಿ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ದೂಧಗಂಗಾ,ವೇದಗಂಗಾ ನದಿಗಳಿಂದ 93,254 ಕ್ಯೂಸೆಕ್ ನೀರು ಕೃಷ್ಣಾ ನದಿಗೆ ಹರಿದು ಬರುತ್ತಿದೆ .ನದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿದ ನೀರಿನ ಹರಿವಿನಿಂದಾಗಿ ಮೂರು ಸೇತುವೆಗಳು ಜಲಾವೃತಗೊಂಡಿವೆ.ಯಡೂರ-ಕಲ್ಲೋಳ,ಬೋಜ-ಕಾರದಗಾ ಮಲಿಕವಾಡ-ದತ್ತವಾಡ ಸೇತುವೆಗಳು ಮುಳುಗಡೆಯಾಗಿವೆ .ಇನ್ನು ಹಿಪ್ಪರಗಿ ಬ್ಯಾರೇಜ್ ನಿಂದ 65100 ಕ್ಯುಸೆಕ್ ನೀರನ್ನು ಹೊರ ಹರರಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತಿದೆ. ಯಾವುದೇ ಪ್ರವಾಹದ ಭೀತಿ ಇಲ್ಲ.ಮಹಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಿರಂತರ ಸಂಪರ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಕಂದಾಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು. Heavy rains in Maharashtra have continued for the past two days.
Increased flow of Krishna River.A total of 93,254 cusecs of water is flowing from the Rajapur Barrage of Maharashtra to the Dudhganga and Vedanganga rivers of Chikkodi Taluk.Three bridges have been submerged due to increased water flow in the river.
Malikawada-Dattawada bridges are crumbling.65100 cusec of water has been spilled out of the barrage.There is no fear of flooding. Revenue authorities are in constant contact with the authorities of Maharashtra.
