Venting about daycare discipline today. I found out why our daughter starting putting up a fight when it was time to sleep. It's because the daycare allowed her to stay awake and do what she wants so that her classmates can sleep. In fact, she would get extra attention during nap time because she didn't want to sleep. Also, this video is about juggling kids and work. We always make things work out. Sometimes we just have to be a little creative so everything can have it all!
WHY THIS VLOG?
We're creating these videos to share what goes on behind the scenes with our family of our dreams. We always dreamed of having a family like this and then it happened. We have 2 perfect children and a beautiful dog, and we have each other. Our family photos look picture perfect. We walk into work everyday, attend social gatherings and post stuff on social media like everything is handled. And it is handled. But not without extraordinary effort, impeccable timing, decisions and structures. We never dreamed of raising a child with autism and then it happened and it has been our biggest challenge and our gift. We are grateful everyday for our lives. We love our lives and each other and want to share our day to day life with others, for inspiration and for autism awareness.
