Anganwadi Centres Are Important In Making People Aware About Health, Sanitation

This Anganwadi centre in Machadi village of Alwar, Rajasthan show how these centres are making people aware about malnutrition, health and hygiene with the help of Anganwadi Workers (AWWs) and Anganwadi Helpers (AWHS) at the grassroots level. Anganwadi Centres provide six services to people in the rural areas- Supplementary Nutrition, Pre-school non-formal education, Nutrition & health education, Immunization, Health check-up and medical help.
