Tiny £31-per-night Airbnb room in Ibiza barely has enough room for a bed

Tiny £31-per-night Airbnb room in Ibiza barely has enough room for a bed A double bed can barely fit into this tiny room but Brits abroad are fighting online to stay in the accommodation in Ibiza.  The utility room has been put on Airbnb for €35 (£31) per night, plus a €5 (£4.49) cleaning fee.  And, despite its size, Brits arriving on the party island are loving it.  "Small room as described, but very nice if you are just looking for the basics," one review reads.  Photos on the website show the bed has been crammed into the room.  A washing machine and a lamp sit at the foot of the bed in other pictures.    The advert itself says Wi-Fi, soap, use of the kitchen and a common area to work with laptops are included services with the room.  Locals are trying to profit from the thousands of Brits keen to party on the Spanish Balearic Island.  In August last year, more than 175,000 Brits visited Formentera and Ibiza.  But local media says some properties are being illegally rented out to tourists this summer.  Hosts aren't getting the right licences before renting out spaces, it's alleged.  Tents on farms "surrounded by lemon trees" are being illegally used, as are teepees in the middle of fields and camper vans and caravans.  They are advertised as "magical spaces where you can be in the middle of nature" and enjoy the authentic Ibiza. However, authorities are investigating the legitimacy of these practices.  One holidaymaker, meanwhile, was filmed on a sunglounger wrecking spree in Ibiza this month.   Tourists at Hotel Piscis, owned by Playasol Ibiza Hotels, in  San Antonio  , appear to egg the woman on as she throws everything in her path into the water for no apparent reason.  The other guests seem to enjoy her impromptu tantrum. One Spanish man can even be overheard giving a running commentary over the Michael Jackson hits Billie Jean and Thriller.  Others wolf-whistle and encourage the woman to carry on in the 1.37-minute clip.  No one challenges her but hotel bosses have since confirmed she was kicked out the two-star establishment for breaching its rules.
