THRIFT FLIP // VINTAGE STYLE (& Why I Don't Usually Bother)

THRIFT FLIP // VINTAGE STYLE (& Why I Don't Usually Bother) Who the hell is Brandy Melville? I kid, but let me tell you a secret...I don't usually thrift flip. I sew...and I thrift, but I do not combine them! But for you? Anything for you ;)

Now is thrift flipping good for the environment? Recycle, reuse, yes of course! Okay, sure, but not with some of these hot glued, now-it-sorta-works, I'll wear it once kind of flips my dudes. Either you really flip things, and know you are going to love them enough to wear and get real use out of an item, or you are just playing craft time and things end up in a landfill anyway!

*ahem* so sorry.

Something has to be really good for me to want to salvage it when thrifting, personally I tend to leave projects behind. But not today! I do really like how these items came out though, I can admit it... Turning 1980's retro items into vintage 1940's or 1950's style items is rather satisfying!
