ခြန္ေဇာ္ - ယူးလခ်ာငါးခြန္သာဒြန္း (Longing for Khun Thar Doon - by Khun Zaw)

This great song is dedicated to the late Pa-O music guiding star Khun Thar Doon who was assassinated in Hsi Hseng in 1978 by the Pa-O communist armed group called SNPLO (aka Ya La La Pha), led by Tarkalei. The song was made by Khun Zaw, one of the greatest Pa-O singers and song writers. The tune, the sound of the leading guitar, the melody of the music and the lyric of the song, all are so harmony. This is the symbolic master pieces of Khun Zaw creation; so moving that it keeps you crave for more and more of his songs. Khun Zaw, undoubtedly is one of the best Pa-O musician of all time. His works of music and his song creations are unique and outstanding. This song is one of his best creations, came out presumably in the late 70s or early 80s. And it is also probably one of the best Pa-O song of all time ever. It is difficult to know the exact time period of most of the Pa-O songs that was produced, as the Pa-O do not keep good record of their songs, and they neither well document the stories of their musicians, let alone the stories behind the songs.

For a lot of Pa-O young people today, they may not have ever heard of the name of the great Pa-O artists and musicians that existed in 60s, 70s, 80s, and even 90s.
